The first thing you need to know about me? My hot (copy) take is that the conversations around about pages are outdated and tired. The age old teaching has always been ‘talk about your audience! Your about page isn’t about you.’ And, sometimes, that’s true.
But sometimes? It is about you. And THIS about page? It’s about both of us. Because if you’re potentially going to work with me, and trust me with YOUR copy, you need to know who I am, if we vibe, if I can handle your other worldly vision, and whether or not I know my sh*t.
So on this about page – I am going to talk about me. This is the page where you figure out whether we’re soulmates. You need to know you’re partnering with someone who shares your values, can see your vision, speaks your love language, and – who you’ll actually LIKE working with.
So – now you know what we’re getting into – let me introduce myself.
I’m elle
I’m a London born (but really, mostly French) zillenial who loves nothing more than slow mornings over double espresso, is still waiting to be Carrie Bradshaw when she grows up, and who’s toxic trait is that I buy stock photography memberships just so I can look at the pretty pictures.
I’m a Girl’s Girl 24/7, and the only time I’m judgemental is Met Gala Monday (while wearing sweats & a 10 year old tee, obvs.) and my secret dream is to one day design my own line of lingerie (I’m never happier than when there’s a sale at Intimissi)
And – I write brand and sales copy for women-owned brands who want to change their industries, build their dream brands, and romanticize everything about business with copy that makes selling fun.
here’s the thing
Qualifications are sexy – but what you really need is a copywriter who cares about the brand you’re building, who gets you and your vision, and who’s going to be able to write your copy in YOUR voice, for YOUR people.
Partly because I work with Girls Girls, so the vibes are immaculate, partly because I keep messaging them post project to get updates on their businesses so I can hype them up and brag about them on my socials
I really, really want you to love your copy. Because what you’re really getting from copy is a voice and words that give your brand life – and that make you proud to have a business you can show off. And I think that matters so much that I’ll do anything to make that happen

Because I’ll be damned if I let you think you’re business if any less amazing than it is, and my job, as far as I’m concerned, is to bring out your full potential and stop you hiding a single part of your amazingness from your audience
